Todo esto tiene que ver con un futuro mensaje a propósito de Patrimonio: Una historia verdadera, aunque ya se puede adelantar que la cuestión a tratar queda bastante clara cuando la misma Philip Roth Society incluye Patrimonio en la categoría de Ficción.

Seix Barral anuncia que proximamente publicará nuevas traducciones de The Ghost Writer, Zuckerman Unbound, Anatomy Lesson, Prague Orgy, The facts, The counterlife, Deception, Goodbye, Columbus y Portnoy's complaint.

Gracias por su blog. Me está gustando su lectura. Unas preguntas: ¿es lo mismo "el escritor fantasma" (the ghost writer) que "La visita del maestro? ¿The Great American Novel (1973), La gran novela americana, está disponible en español? No la encuentro.

Aunque todo el mundo (incluso editores) jura y perjura que este libro nunca se ha publicado en español te informo que The great american novel no se ha publicado nunca en "España" pero sí en español; existe una edición argentina de principios de los setenta, poco después de su publicación en ingles,que yo, como fanático seguidor de Roth, descubrí desde Barcelona, en Buenos Aires, y me apresuré a conseguir.
Es una muy interesante novela pero que a quièn no le guste el beisbol se le puede hacer pesada porque gira por entero en torno este deporte.
